Day: 1 - Arrival in Guwahati Meal: [D]
Upon arriving at Guwahati Airport or railway station, you will be transferred to your hotel in a shared vehicle. Depending on the
time available, you can visit the revered Kamakhya Temple and enjoy the serene views of the Brahmaputra River.
Day: 2 - Journey to Shillong Meal: [B, D]
After a refreshing morning tea and breakfast, depart for the picturesque town of Shillong, covering approximately 130 km in about
4 hours. En route, visit the serene Umiam Lake. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and relax.
Day: 3 - Exploring Cherrapunjee Meal: [B, D]
Start your day with morning tea and breakfast, then head to Cherrapunjee to explore its stunning sights, including Elephant Falls,
Nohkalikai Falls, Mawsmai Caves, and the Seven Sister Falls, situated at an altitude of 1100 ft. at your own expense. After lunch,
return to Shillong.
Day: 4 - Nature's Splendour in Mawlynnong Meal: [B, D]
After morning tea and breakfast, drive to the living root bridge in Mawlynnong village, also known as nature's own garden. This
village was awarded the title of the cleanest village in Asia in 2003. Visit Dawki, near the Bangladesh border (Tamabil border),
where you can enjoy a boat ride on the crystal-clear waters of the Umgot River at your own expense. Return to Shillong.
Day: 5 - Journey to Bhalukpong Meal: [B, D]
Following morning tea and breakfast, depart Shillong for Bhalukpong, covering approximately 300 km in about 6 hours.
Bhalukpong is the gateway to Arunachal Pradesh. After obtaining the necessary permits, check in to your hotel and relax.
Day: 6 - Exploring Dirang Meal: [B, D]
After breakfast, leave for Dirang from Bhalukpong, approximately a 130 km journey taking about 4 hours. En-route, visit the
beautiful Sessa Orchid Sanctuary. Upon arrival in Dirang, check in to your hotel and relax.
Day: 7 - En route to Tawang Meal: [B, D]
Begin your day with morning tea and breakfast before departing for Tawang, approximately a 145 km journey taking about 4
hours. Pass through the snow-covered Sela Pass at an altitude of 14,000 feet, and visit Jaswantgarh War Memorial and Tawang
Monastery along the way. After lunch, enjoy a military light and sound show at your own expense before returning to your hotel.
Day: 8 - Discovering Tawang Meal: [B, D]
After morning tea and breakfast, explore Tawang's attractions, including the Indo-China Border, Madhuri Lake, the Golden
Namgyal Lhaste Monastery, and the 400-year-old 6th Dalai Lama Monastery, adorned with an 18-foot statue of Lord Buddha (at
your own expense). Additionally, take a trip to the scenic Bum La Pass (at your own expense).
Day: 9 - Journey to Dirang Meal: [B, D]
After morning tea and breakfast, leave Tawang for Dirang, approximately a 180 km journey taking about 6 hours. Visit Jung Falls
and Dirang Monastery before checking into your hotel and resting.
Day: 10 - Exploring Tezpur Meal: [B, D]
Following morning tea and breakfast, depart Dirang for Tezpur, covering around 190 km in about 5 hours. Upon arrival in Tezpur,
check into your hotel and rest.
Day: 11 - Departure from Guwahati Meal: [B]
Conclude your incredible journey with a refreshing morning tea and breakfast. Afterward, you'll be escorted to Guwahati Airport or
railway station in a shared vehicle. As you bid farewell to the enchanting landscapes and unforgettable experiences of Assam and
Meghalaya, take with you cherished memories of an extraordinary adventure. Please ensure your flight is scheduled after 2 PM.
