Bhutan Tour Itinerary (8 Days / 7 Nights)

Day 1: Arrival at Bagdogra / NJP – Transfer to Phuentsholing

Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP), guests will be picked up at 2:30 PM and transferred towards Phuentsholing , the Indo-Bhutan border town. Distance: Approx. 160 km | Travel Time: Approx. 4 Hours Complete Bhutan entry permit formalities upon arrival and check in to the hotel.

Important Notes

• Arrival before 2:30 PM is mandatory.
• Guests arriving after 2:30 PM will need to arrange a separate vehicle at an additional cost of approximately ₹4,500–₹5,000 per vehicle.
• Travelers using a private vehicle will not have pickup/drop timing restrictions.

Day 2: Phuentsholing to Thimphu

After breakfast and immigration formalities, proceed towards Thimphu , the capital city of Bhutan. Distance: Approx. 175 km | Travel Time: Approx. 6 Hours En route, enjoy scenic mountain views and visit:

• Gedu – located at an altitude of around 9,000 feet
• Chukha Hydropower Dam

Upon arrival in Thimphu, check in at the hotel. In the evening, explore the local market at your own expense.

Day 3: Thimphu Sightseeing

After breakfast, enjoy full-day sightseeing in Thimphu, including:

• National Memorial Chorten
• Buddha Dordenma
• Motithang Takin Preserve – Home to Bhutan’s national animal
• National Library of Bhutan
• Bhutan Textile Museum
• Changangkha Lhakhang

Later, enjoy shopping at the Bhutan Handicraft Center (own expense) before returning to the hotel.

Day 4: Thimphu to Punakha

After breakfast at 8:30 AM, proceed towards Punakha . Distance: Approx. 70 km | Travel Time: Approx. 2.5 Hours En route, visit:

• Dochula Pass – located at an altitude of 10,168 feet
• Druk Wangyal Chortens – 108 memorial stupas built in honor of Bhutanese soldiers

Upon arrival in Punakha, visit:

• Punakha Dzong
• Punakha Suspension Bridge
• Confluence of the Mo Chhu and Po Chhu rivers

Optional river rafting activities are available at your own expense.

Day 5: Punakha to Paro

After breakfast at 8:30 AM, depart for Paro . Distance: Approx. 130 km | Travel Time: Approx. 4 Hours Visit the famous attractions of Paro, including:

• National Museum of Bhutan
• Royal Botanical Park
• Drukgyel Dzong
• Rinpung Dzong

Also enjoy scenic views of Paro International Airport from the viewpoint area. After sightseeing, check in to the hotel and relax.

Day 6: Paro Sightseeing

After breakfast at 8:30 AM, proceed for sightseeing around Paro. Visit:

• Chele La Pass – one of the highest motorable passes in Bhutan near the Tibet border

OR Guests may choose the famous trek to:

• Tiger's Nest Monastery (Taktsang Monastery)

Important Notes

• Additional vehicle charge for Tiger’s Nest trekking: Approx. ₹1,000 per person
• Entry fees are at your own expense
• The monastery is located at an altitude of approximately 10,000 feet
• Trekking duration: Approx. 5–6 hours (up and down)

Day 7: Paro to Phuentsholing

After breakfast at 8:30 AM, depart from Paro and travel back to Phuentsholing . Distance: Approx. 160 km | Travel Time: Approx. 5 Hours Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and relax.

Day 8: Departure – Phuentsholing to Bagdogra / NJP

After breakfast, depart for Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station. Distance: Approx. 160 km | Travel Time: Approx. 4 Hours

Important Notes

• Guests are advised to book flights or trains after 2:00 PM.
• For early morning departures or evening flights, guests may need to arrange separate transport at an additional cost of approximately ₹4,500–₹5,000 per vehicle.
• If other sharing passengers have already departed, guests will need to arrange transportation at their own expense.

• Cancellation charge will be accept from the booking dates
• Before 30 days – communication charges of Rs. 2000/- per person.
• 30 -15 Days prior to departure 25% on total package cost.
• 14 -07 Days prior to departure 50% on total package cost.
• 7- 03 Days prior to departure 75% on total package cost.
• With in 03 Days/No show Full amount / non refundable.
• This is our cancellation rules but we will give our best possible effort to minimize the cancellation charges.

Amendment Terms:-

• Amendment of booked tour will be treated as Cancellation. However, minor amendments can be made on the payment of a communication charge.
