About This Tour
Kashmir is a region of breathtaking contrast, where the rugged peaks of the Himalayas meet the soft, mirror-like surfaces of alpine lakes. Often called "Paradise on Earth," it’s a land that feels less like a destination and more like a living painting.
Day 1: ARRIVAL AT JAMMU / KATRA
Due to the tyranny of taxi unions at Jammu/Katra Railway Station, all the tourists will have to reach our hotel in Jammu/Katra directly from Katra/Jammu Railway Station and from there our company's service will start and if the first night is in Katra then only 1 time at 7.10 pm by 2 x 2 Non A.C. bus will be taken from Jammu to Katra complimentary. But you will have to reach Jammu hotel on your own from Jammu Railway Station or Airport.
Day 2: JAMMU / KATRA → SRINAGAR
Departure from Jammu/Katra at 7:00 AM for Srinagar. (250 km. / 8 hours) After arrival at Srinagar hotel, enjoy Shikara ride in the evening (at own expense).
Day 3: SRINAGAR TO GULMARG
after breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full-day trip to Gulmarg, located around 55 km from Srinagar. Gulmarg is one of the most popular hill stations in Kashmir, known for its wide green meadows, beautiful mountain views, and snow during the winter season. On arrival, enjoy the scenic surroundings and spend time at leisure. You may choose to take the Gondola cable car ride to enjoy stunning views from higher altitude(Online ticket for Gulmarg Rope-way should be booked 1 month in advance by the booking staff of our office after getting the information about the date of the rope-way through this website www.jammukashmircablecar.com for a time slot after 11 am at your own expense and on your own.) Due to the long line of Gondola in Gulmarg and the time it takes for tourists to walk around, tourists cannot come on time for lunch, so we do not serve lunch in Gulmarg. The responsibility of getting the ropeway ticket in Gulmarg will be entirely the responsibility of the traveler, the booking of the trip will not be canceled due to any reason of ropeway and no refund will be given.
Special Note: Many times the road from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is closed due to snowfall and for that one has to travel at his own expense in a rented vehicle provided by the local union there. The approximate cost of which is Rs. 2500 to Rs. 3500 per vehicle. We cannot include this cost in the tour price on a permanent basis. Because such a problem occurs only 15 or 20 times a year.. Pony rides and other local activities are available on direct payment. After spending the day in Gulmarg, return to Srinagar in the evening. Dinner will be served at the hotel. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 4: SRINAGAR TO SONMARG
After breakfast at around 7:30 AM, check out from the hotel in Srinagar and proceed to Sonamarg, located approximately 80 km away (about 3 hours’ drive). Sonamarg, known as the “Meadow of Gold,” is famous for its breathtaking valleys, snow-covered mountains, flowing rivers, and scenic natural beauty. The drive from Srinagar to Sonamarg is very picturesque, passing through charming villages and lush green landscapes. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel and have lunch. Later, visit the beautiful Thajiwas Glacier, where pony rides are available to reach the glacier area (on direct payment basis). Spend time enjoying the peaceful surroundings and fresh mountain air. Dinner will be served at the hotel. Overnight stay in Sonamarg.
Day 5: SONMARG TO SRINAGAR
After breakfast at around 8:00 AM, check out from the hotel in Sonamarg and proceed to Srinagar, located approximately 80 km away (about 3 hours’ drive). Upon arrival in Srinagar, proceed for local sightseeing and visit the famous Mughal Gardens including Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, and Chashme Shahi Garden, known for their beautiful landscaping, natural springs, and stunning views of Dal Lake and the surrounding mountains. After completing the sightseeing, check in at the hotel and take rest. Dinner will be served at the hotel. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 6: SRINAGAR → PAHALGAM
Departure from Srinagar to Pahalgam (Approx. 90 km./ 3 hours) Arrival in Pahalgam / Rest. (We try to keep the hotels in Pahalgam close to the main city center, so the hotels in Pahalgam are a bit average compared to Srinagar, but if any tourist wants to upgrade the hotel, it will be done with an additional charge.) Traveler friends, on the way from Srinagar to Pahalgam, there are saffron fields and a cricket bat factory in Pampore area, do not waste much time for shopping there, so that you do not get late for lunch (Pahalgam). After arriving in Pahalgam, visit Baisharan by horse at your own expense and Aaru Valley by Taxi Union taxi at your own expense. (River rafting is not recommended as it is dangerous.)
Day 7: PAHALGAM LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
Sightseeing at your own expense and by local union taxi from Pahalgam including visit to Betab valley and Chandanwadi
Day 8: PAHALGAM → JAMMU / KATRA
Departure from Pahalgam to Jammu/Katra. (250 km. / 8 hrs.)
Day 9: DEPARTURE
The tour concludes with a drop-off at Katra Railway Station. Complimentary drop-off will be provided only once at 4.30 AM for Jammu Railway Station. Jammu Airport drop-off will be on a voluntary basis.
Inclusions :
- Accommodation on twin sharing basis in above mentioned or similar category hotels, will be confirm at the time of booking.
- Complimentary use of the hotels any recreation facility as per hotels terms & conditions. (subject to availability).
- Surface transportation from pick up till drop Srinagar to Srinagar round trip and local sightseeing as per the itinerary by Tempo Traveller / Winger (Non A.C.)
- Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
- Every day, 2 mineral water bottles will be provided to each person
- The entire tour will be arranged in tempo travellers instead of a 27-seater bus. In a 12-seater tempo traveller, only 10 passengers can be seated; in a 17-seater tempo traveller, 12 to 13 passengers; and in a 20-seater tempo traveller or mini bus, only 16 to 17 passengers can be seated. Each passenger will have to sit according to the rotation system.
- If any passenger wishes to stay in a houseboat, they must inform at the time of booking. The houseboat will be of deluxe category. If you wish to stay in a houseboat for 1 night, the charge will be Rs. 2,000/- per room. If an extra mattress is required, an additional Rs. 900/- will be charged, and Rs. 500/- will be charged for a child. Meals will be provided at our main stay location where all passengers stay, and you will have to reach there at your own arrangement and expense. If anyone wishes to have dinner and breakfast at the deluxe houseboat, an additional Rs. 700/- per person will have to be paid.

Exclusions :
- Any Airfare / Train fare is not included in the package cost.
- Any expenses of personal nature like tips, phone calls, fax, internet, games, sauna, and steam, Jacuzzi, laundry, extra vehicle hire, bar, room heaters, discotheque or any other.
- Pony/horse rides, boat rides, safaris, rafting charges, skiing/skating, and cable car/ropeway rides etc.
- Entrance fees at any monument and guide charges, wherever applicable.
- Additional sightseeing tours and excursions. All major sightseeing will be cover once during sightseeing.
- Vehicle will be allowed up to parking points & last possible points. (Subject to road & gov. conditions).
- Any service not specifically mentioned in the Package Cost Includes column.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellation charge will be accept from the booking dates
- Before 30 days – communication charges of Rs. 2000/- per person.
- 30 -15 Days prior to departure 25% on total package cost.
- 14 -07 Days prior to departure 50% on total package cost.
- 07- 03 Days prior to departure 75% on total package cost.
- With in 03 Days/No show Full amount / non refundable.
- This is our cancellation rules but we will give our best possible effort to minimize the cancellation charges.
