Day-Wise Itinerary

Day 1 - Welcome to Leh

  • Activity: Arrival Leh, assist and transfer you to Hotel in Leh . Rest of the day free to acclimatize to the high altitude of Ladakh . In the evening take a walk to the local bazaar in Leh . Overnight at Hotel in Leh .
  • Hotels:

Day 2 - Welcome to Leh

  • Activity: Morning after breakfast visit Hall of Fame, Spituk Monastery and Kali Mata Temple, Magnetic Hill, Gurudwara Patthar Sahib and Confluence of Zanskar Indus rivers . Return to Leh for lunch (on own) . Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Leh .
  • Sightseeing Details:
    • Ladakh Hall Of Fame: A glorious museum constructed by the Indian Army . It is worth a visit for every citizen . You can see the memorabilia, eminent defense personalities with biographies, images and weapons used during the Kargil and other key strategic battles fought in Ladakh, as well as belongings of the enemy soldiers found at the war site, martyrs records, and gallantry awards .
    • Spituk Gompa: Located 8 Kms from Leh, it stands prominently on the top of a hillock commanding a panoramic view of the Indus Valley for miles . Many icons of Buddha and f ine Thankas are to be found in this 15th-century Gompa . It also houses a collection of ancient masks, antique arms, and an awe-inspiring image of Mahakaal . The face of the Kali image is kept covered and is revealed only at the annual function in Jan uary every year .
    • Magnetic Hill: Defying the law of gravity . Located close to Gurudwara Shri Patthar Sahib, it has been noticed that when a vehicle is parked on neutral gear on this metallic road, it slides uphill .
    • Gurudwara Shri Patthar Sahib: Situated about 25 kms short of Leh town on the Leh-Srinagar road . Built in the everlasting memory of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the great prophet who sanctified the place by his sacred visit during the year 1517 while on his second missionary tour (2nd Udassi 1515–1518) . The Guru reached here via Nepal, Sikkim, Tibet, Yarkand, and Leh after having spiritual discourses with the sidhas at Mount Sumer (Central Himalayas) .
    • Confluence Of The Zanskar and Indus: Located on the way to Sham Valley before Nimu village, offering a magnificent view of two rivers in wed-lock . In different seasons, they feature distinct colors, flow patterns, and wildness .

Day 3 - Welcome to Nubra Valley

  • Activity: Early morning proceed to Nubra Valley via the World's Highest Motorable road (5602 Mts) Khardungla Pass . Arrive in Nubra and proceed for a visit to the White Sand Dunes at Hunder . You can enjoy a camel ride (On Own) . Later, if time permits, visit Hunder Sand Dunes and Diskit Monastery, and check in at a Deluxe Camp . Evening at leisure . Overnight at the camp .
  • Sightseeing Details:
    • Khardungla Pass: The road journey to Nubra Valley leads through Khardung La pass at 18,390 ft, around 39 Kms away from Leh . There are checkpoints on both sides of the pass . Khardong is the first village of Nubra valley encountered at a high altitude .
    • Deskit Village: The main village and headquarter of Nubra valley, featuring a small market consisting of a row of shops and an approximately 500-year-old Gompa on the hilltop that offers spectacular views of the valley .
    • Deskit Gompa: Founded by Lama Sherab Zangpo of Stod in about 1420 AD during the reign of King Dragspa . About 100 monks reside in this Gompa, which functions as a branch of Thikse Monastery . The monastic festival called Gustor takes place on the 20th and 21st days of the 12th month of the Tibetan calendar .
    • Hundar Village: A beautiful village to stay in with lots of trees . It features a small monastery and a ruined fort above the village . Walks or Camel Safaris on double-hump Bactrian camels through the sand dunes from Hundar to Deskit take about two hours (on own) .

    • Leh Mosque: The Jama Masjid of Leh was built in 1666-67 AD under an agreement between Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb and Ladakhi ruler Deldan Namgyal . Initially, the architecture bore Tibetan, Central Asian, and Ladakhi styles, but in recent years it has been reconstructed with minarets and domes .

Day 5 - Welcome to Leh

  • Activity: Morning after breakfast drive to Pangong Lake on the Indo-China border . Evening back to hotel in Leh for dinner and overnight stay .
  • Sightseeing Details:
    • The Pangong Lake: Situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 M) . A long narrow basin of inland drainage, hardly six to seven kilometers at its widest point to which foreigners are permitted . It is located only some seven km along the southern shore from the head of the lake, but affords spectacular views of the Changchenmo range mountains to the north, shimmering with ever-changing blues and greens . Above Spangmik are the glaciers and snow-capped peaks of the Pangong range .

Cancellation Policy

  • Post order acceptance, the order can be cancelled only in case of non delivery of the product, due to product unavailability which is duly acknowledged & where the sale proceeds, if remitted, are refunded by the Merchant / Manufacturer.
