Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1 – Bagdogra to Gangtok Transfer

Pick up from Bagdogra Airport at 3:00 PM and proceed to Gangtok.

• Distance: approximately 120 km / 5 hours
• Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim, is a beautiful hill station located at an altitude of approximately 5,500 feet
• Enjoy the scenic journey through the hills
• Hotel check-in and evening at leisure
• Important: For tourists arriving after 3:00 PM, an additional charge of approximately ₹5,000–₹5,500 per vehicle will apply for the pickup
• If travelling with a personal vehicle, there is no time restriction for pickup and drop
• Overnight: Gangtok

Day 2 – Changu Lake & Baba Temple Excursion

After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Changu Lake and Baba Temple.

• Visit Changu Lake – approximately 55 km from Gangtok
• Changu Lake is located at an altitude of approximately 12,310 feet
• Visit Baba Temple, located at approximately 13,500 feet
• Nathu La Pass visit is optional and at an additional cost
• Nathu La Pass is closed every Monday
• In case of snowfall, landslides, traffic jams or road closure, alternative sightseeing may be arranged depending on the conditions
• Overnight: Gangtok

Day 3 – Gangtok to Lachung via Seven Sisters & Bhimnala Waterfall

After breakfast, check out from the Gangtok hotel and proceed to Lachung.

• Distance: approximately 125 km / 6 hours via hill roads
• Lachung is located in northern Sikkim at an altitude of approximately 9,000 feet
• En route, visit Seven Sisters Waterfall
• Visit Bhimnala Waterfall
• Continue to Lachung and check in to the hotel
• Evening at leisure
• Overnight: Lachung

Day 4 – Yumthang Valley Excursion

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Yumthang Valley.

• Visit the beautiful Yumthang Valley, located at approximately 12,500 feet
• Surrounded by snow-capped mountains, Yumthang is also known as the Valley of Flowers
• Zero Point excursion is optional and available at an additional cost
• Return to Lachung hotel
• Evening at leisure
• Overnight: Lachung

Day 5 – Lachung to Gangtok & Gangtok Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, check out from the Lachung hotel and proceed to Gangtok.

• Distance: approximately 110 km / 6 hours via hill roads
• Depending on time availability, proceed for local Gangtok sightseeing by small vehicle
• Visit Flower Show
• Visit Handicrafts Centre
• Visit Benzakhari Waterfall
• Enjoy the Gangtok Ropeway
• Overnight: Gangtok

Day 6 – Gangtok to Pelling via Namchi, Char Dham & Tea Garden

After breakfast, check out and proceed towards Pelling.

• Distance: approximately 160 km / 6 hours via hill roads
• En route, visit Benzakhari Waterfall
• Visit Namchi Char Dham
• Visit a Tea Garden
• Arrive in Pelling and check in
• Pelling is a picturesque hill station located at approximately 7,200 feet
• Ravangla Buddha Temple visit is optional and available at an additional cost
• Overnight: Pelling

Day 7 – Pelling Sightseeing & Transfer to Darjeeling

After breakfast, explore the major attractions of Pelling.

• Visit Sky Walk with Chenrezig Statue
• Visit Pemyangsti Monastery
• Visit Rabdentsi Ruins
• Visit Bird Sanctuary
• Proceed from Pelling to Darjeeling
• Distance: approximately 110 km / 3 hours via hill roads
• Hotel check-in and evening at leisure
• Overnight: Darjeeling

Day 8 – Tiger Hill Sunrise & Darjeeling Local Sightseeing

Start early at 4:00 AM and proceed to Tiger Hill to witness the sunrise.

• Visit Tiger Hill for the spectacular sunrise and views of Kanchenjunga, weather permitting
• Visit Gurkha War Memorial at Batasia Loop
• Return to the hotel for tea and breakfast
• Proceed for Darjeeling sightseeing:
  • Japanese Temple
  • Peace Pagoda
  • Darjeeling Zoo (closed every Thursday)
  • Tenzing Rock
  • Tibetan Refugee Centre
  • Tea Garden
• Toy Train/Joy Ride is optional and must be booked by the traveller through IRCTC at their own expense
• Overnight: Darjeeling

Day 9 – Darjeeling to Bagdogra Airport Departure

After breakfast, check out and proceed to Bagdogra Airport.

• Distance: approximately 90 km / 4 hours via hill roads
• It is recommended to book flights or trains after 12:00 noon
• For shared vehicles, airport drop will be arranged after breakfast at approximately 6:00 AM
• For travellers requiring a vehicle at a different time, an additional charge of approximately ₹5,000–₹5,500 per vehicle will apply
• Drop-off at Bagdogra Airport
• Tour Ends
